Prof. Dr. Susanne Scholz
Susanne Scholz is Professor of English Literature and Culture at the University of Frankfurt/Main. She has held teaching posts at the Universities of Frankfurt, Siegen and Paderborn. Her main research interests and publications are in the field of early modern, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English literature, gender studies, medical humanities, visual culture studies and literary anthropology. She has recently completed a research project on visual practices at the court of Elizabeth I. and is currently working on a project on faces and typification in English literature at the turn of the 20th century.
