July 5th 2019: We are presenting our work at a number of conferences in the upcoming weeks. Nina will give a talk on FRET PAINT at the EBSA meeting in Madrid; Christoph will speak about STED with exchangeable dyes at the PicoQuant Meeting in Berlin; Mike will present stoichiometry imaging of membrane receptors at the MAF in La Jolla. We have poster presentations at the EBSA meeting (Mark, Mathilda), the EMBL microbiology meeting in Heidelberg (Mathilda), the SMLMS in Delft (Tim and Klara) and at the Seeing is Believing in Heidelberg (Christoph, Mike).

July 1st 2019: After being a single-molecule enthusiast for many years, Sebastian now moves on to his new research field in the Data Science Group of the Clinical Pharmacology at the University Hospital of the Goethe-University. We wish Sebastian all the best for his future!

Jan 7th 2019: We developed STED/confocal microscopy that is not affected by fluorophore bleaching, using fluorophores that rapidly exchange to and from their target (see here)

Oct 3rd 2018: Just in time on his birthday, Christophs latest paper together with Mathilda, came out: A toolbox for multiplexed super-resolution imaging of the E. coli nucleoid and membrane using novel PAINT labels. Scientific Reports 2018, 8, 14768.

Sep 27th 2018: As part of the celebration of the 10,000th doctorate at the Goethe University, Christoph gave a Science Slam lecture intitled:" Eins nach dem Anderen - wie man mit einzelnen Molekülen höchstaufgelöste Bilder erstellt"
