Digitalization of Kierkegaard’s Library

Administration: Dr. Roman Winter

The ambition of our project is to digitalize Kierkegaard’s library in order to facilitate scholarship on his thought. It particularly seeks to help the commentaries of the German translation “Deutsche Søren Kierkegaard Edition” (DSKE), which is focusing on Kierkegaard’s Journals and Notebooks. Thus far, 92% of the books and works mentioned in The Auction Protocol of Kierkegaard’s Library (1856) have been collected, linked or scanned since May 2010. In addition, we will add books and works Kierkegaard refers to in his own writings, or which he would have access to via the University Library of Copenhagen or the Danish literature society Athenæum.
