From Frankfurt Central Station
Exit Frankfurt main station at the main entrance (eastwards) where you find the tram station at ground level.  Enter tram line 21 (direction “Stadion”) or tram line 12 (direction “Rheinlandstrasse”) and exit at the fifth station “Heinrich-Hoffmann-Strasse/Blutspendedienst” (ride takes ~10 min). Cross the tracks and follow "Sandhofstrasse" eastwards for about 200 meters to reach the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Haus 75.

From the airport (FRA)

From Frankfurt airport (FRA) you can reach the Institute for Molecular Medicine conveniently either by taxi or by public transport:

Taxi: Please instruct the taxi driver to drive to “Haus 75” of the Campus of the University Hospital Frankfurt (Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt) located at Sandhofstrasse 2-4 close to the “Blutspendedienst”. (not to the main entrance of the Hospital and not to the main campus of the University)
Except for rush hours, taxi travel time is ~ 15 - 20 min (~ 30 EUR)

Public transport: Take the commuting train (“S-Bahn”) lines S8 or S9 from the underground train station at the airport (“Flughafen Regionalbahnhof”) to Frankfurt main station (“Hauptbahnhof”) (underground station) (travel time ~10 min). Exit Frankfurt main station at the main entrance (eastwards) where you find the tram station at ground level. Enter tram line 21 (direction “Stadion”) or tram line 12 (direction “Rheinlandstrasse”) and exit at the station “Heinrich-Hoffmann-Strasse/Blutspendedienst”. Cross the tracks and follow "Sandhofstrasse" eastwards for about 100 meters to reach the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Haus 75.
Total travel time ~ 30 – 40 min (~ 5 EUR).

By car

From South, A5: Exit at “Niederrad/Universitätsklinikum”, take a right and  follow  the Main River for about 3 kilometers. Turn right into “Deutschordenstrasse” and after 500 m left into “Sandhofstrasse".

From North, A5: Exit at “Frankfurt am Main-Westhafen”, follow “Gutleutstrasse” for 2 kilometers, turn right at “Baseler Platz / Baseler Strasse” and cross the Main river (Friedensbrücke), turn right into “Theodor-Stern-Kai”, turn left into “Deutschordenstrasse” and turn left into “Sandhofstrasse”.
