Conditions of admission

  • The subject-specifics admission requirement for this programme is a completed law degree comparable to the conditions of the German law degree.

Language proficiency

  • Proof of sufficient proficiency in German in accordance with the German Language University Entrance Examination Rules of at least Level DSH 2 (or comparable as TestDaF all 4 or better; Kleines oder Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom; Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung des Goethe-Instituts, KMK-Prüfung: Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe II).

Application and required documents

Please apply from June 1st via HIS-in-One using the following link: https://goethe-campus.uni-frankfurt.de

You will receive an account with username and password. Please send the completed and signed application form together with the following documents to Ms. Marion Süß, Dekanat Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft, Theodor-W.-Adorno-Platz 4, 60629 Frankfurt am Main

  • Authenticated (certified) copies of certificates also in German or English translation
  • Proof of German language proficiency

It will then be checked whether your application meets the formal requirements for the degree program. If the requirements are fulfilled, you will be informed by mail about the admission. The notification is also available online via the university portal. Upon admission, you will then transfer the semester fee and enroll online via the university portal.

Date for applications

  • The application with all required documents must be received at the Dean´s Office latest by 31st of July each year. Copies of your documents (including proof of language) must be certified so that they can be taken into account!
