Advanced Practical Course (Physikalisches Praktikum für Fortgeschrittene)

Please note that you have to be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's course in physics to be able to participate in advanced practical courses. 

Recommended prior knowledge: Content of the courses Experimentalphysik 1-4, Anfängerpraktikum 1&2.

Online registration for the summer semester 2024 for all advanced practical courses is open from 11.03.2024 until 07.04.2024.

Registration for advanced practical course SoSe 2024

In the Bachelor's and Master's degree programme, the practical couses is carried out in two institutes. Successful participation in both institutes is required to pass the practical course. It is not possible to split the practical couses over several semesters.

Students of "Lehramt" choose one institute for both halves of the semester.

The submitted protocols are evaluated with 0 - 5 points. The impression of the first submission is decisive for the evaluation. If the protocol has deficiencies, a revision can be requested. Points are awarded after final acceptance by the tutors. To pass, each protocol must have at least one point, and at least 50% of the possible points must be achieved in each institute. Protocols must be accepted by the end of the semester.

The practical courses take place during the lecture period on Mondays from approx. 9 am - 5 pm.
