Born 1964; 1986-1992 Studies in Education, History and Italian at the University of Tübingen; 1992-2003 research fellow at the Institute for Regional Innovation and Social Research (IRIS), Tübingen; 2000 Phd; 2003-2010 Lecturer at the Institute of Education, Univesrity of Tübingen; 2009 Habilitation; since 2010 Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Frankfurt.



Research interests:

Youth research, transitions in the life course, child and youth welfare, transitions in the life course, international comparison
