A mini-course on LaTeX

LaTeX is a text-formatting or typesetting language, which is pretty capable of everything.
Note that LaTeX is usually pronounced 'latek' so not with the /ks/ pronunciation English speakers normally associate with X, but with a /k/.

The course aims at the complete novice and is split in 3 parts:
[pdf] introduction (german only, 3.4 MB)
[pdf] setting mathematical formulas (german only, 1.7 MB)
[pdf] including images (german only, 1.8 MB)

Here's an excellent LaTeX-cheat-sheet [pdf], containing most basic commands.
