Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University would like to invite you to Haus Bergkranz in the Kleinwalsertal.

The aim of Haus Bergkranz is to offer students and research scientists not only of Frankfurt university, but also from other universities, the opportunity to combine work and pleasure in the heart of the mountains so that the participants can go back to work revitalized.

Haus Bergkranz is equipped not only with rooms for seminars, conferences or sport-courses, but also with a generously laid-out sun-terrace, a large lawn for sun-bathing, and ample facilities for sport and playtime activities for family, youth and club holidays.

Haus Bergkranz, a stately home, is typical for the region, and can take up to 70 guests. Because of it's rustic but cosy furnishings, it is especially in the reading-room, the "Bauernstube" and the wine-cellar, that the guests are able to rest in a relaxed atmosphere here so well.

During the summer months one can go hiking, climbing or on mountaineering excursions with a guide in the unique alpine landscape. There are fitness trails, tennis-courts, minigolf, bowling-alleys and swimming pools. In the winter, it goes without saying that one can go skiing and snowboarding, ice-skating and sledging, not to mention rambling in the snow, with a stop every so often at one of the obligatory "Hütten" for refreshments.

Last but not least the prices: One overnight stay including breakfast-buffet, a lunch-package, and a hot evening meal costs e.g. for students 27 Euro in a shared /family room, and 30 Euro for a double room.
