Conditions of admission

Admission requirements
  • B.A. in the same or a related subject, or at least an equivalent degree from another university of applied sciences in the same or similar subject, or a Master’s degree at another university that has not been passed and the examination claim has not been forfeited;
  • Letter of motivation + grade of Bachelor's degree (The letter of motivation should not exceed two pages in length. Fontsize should be 12pt, 1.5 line spacing )
  • Proof of English language skills by TOEFL test with a minimum of 540 points, or 210 points in a computer-based test, or 76 points in an internet-based test, or IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.0, or a Bachelor thesis written in English; other proof may be required and subject to approval by the examination office.
Provisional admission No regulations.
Mode of admission Admission is restricted.

Applications

Documents to be submitted
  • a university entrance qualification (e.g. A-Levels), if you are not already enrolled at Universität Frankfurt.
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate
  • a Letter of motivation
  • if the Bachelor's degree has not yet been completed, a transcript of records or equivalent document listing the content of the study programme and average grade
  • certificate of German language skills if the first degree was obtained at an international higher education institution. See here for more information about the required German language skills.
  • you may need to submit other documents depending on your country of origin and your previous education; please see the general information about applying for a Master’s degree.
