Publications
a) Book
Maxime, Des Initiatives, Texte établi, traduit et annoté par Nicola Zito, Paris, Les Belles Lettres, Collection des Universités de France, 2016 – XCVI + 204 partially double pages.
This book is a revised and expanded version of the Masters’s degree and PhD dissertations. It includes a general introduction which presents Maximus, his time, the sources about him and his work, his poetic technique, and a discussion of how his poem should be placed in the more general discourse of astrological poetry. This introduction is followed by a brief history of handwritten transmission, translations and editions. The reader then finds the Greek text, its translations, abundant commentary notes and three indexes.
