The anti-discrimination officer at Gothe University supports those affected by discrimination and is committed to reducing discrimination at the university.

The appointment is made in accordance with §6(2) of the Hessian Higher Education Act (HessHG).

The main tasks of the anti-discrimination officer include:

  • Confidential and independent counselling and support for all persons who have experienced or observed discrimination in the context of the university
  • Documentation and monitoring of cases of discrimination at the university
  • Counselling and support for the university and its facilities to reduce discrimination and prevent discrimination,
  • Supporting and developing the structures of anti-discrimination work
