Career Service for International Students

The Career Service offers international students at Goethe University advice and support tailored to their individual needs and their own career path in the German labor market. These services are confidential and free of charge. They range from basic information and self-learning materials to workshops on future skills and the application process. We offer career coaching, application review, and job shadowing programmes.

Before starting your student job, internship or work placement, you should find out about residence requirements, especially if you are not from a member state of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA).

More information on these topics can be found in the Infocenter & downloads section and on the website of the Advising and Support service for international students.
