  • U-Pb geochronology (baddeleyite, zircon, rutile, …)
  • Tectonic evolution of the peri-Gondwana terranes until the Variscan Orogeny

Current research activities

  • Petrologic and multi-isotope study of orogenic high-pressure metabasites from the Franciscan Complex and xenolithic eclogites from the Navajo Volcanic field (USA).
  • Petrologic evolution and Fe isotope systematics of the Münchberg Massif (NE Bavaria).
