Overview
Course content and focus areas |
The goal of the Master’s study course is deepening of knowledge and specialisation in the subject Biophysics. The courses are no longer strictly oriented within the classical subject boundaries and institute but are now more topic oriented and are offered interdisciplinarily in five areas of focus:
These areas of focus reflect the areas of focus of research conducted by the university lecturers on campus who represent the biophysical subject areas and attractive and future-oriented fields of research. The necessary breadth of the education is achieved in that the student must select modules from all of the areas of focus as optional compulsory subjects. The depth of the education is achieved in that the students are introduced to the Master’s thesis over a research and laboratory practical course as well as over a working group seminar and an “academic specialisation“ module in which the student delivers his own work on a current scientific problem. |
