Applications
Course content and focus areas | This study program, which is taught in English, focuses on process structures of economic policy in the international integration of markets. The program prepares students for challenging careers in administration and politics, as well as in national and international organisations. In addition to applied econometrics and micro and macroeconomics, the programme provides in-depth knowledge of international economic policy and globalisation. The focus is on economic, micro and macroeconomic topics with a strong international correlation (international relations in trade and development, monetary and fiscal policy). The aim of the program is to provide students with analytical, economic and quantitative skills and knowledge for challenging careers in the field of economic analysis, e.g. as is required for leading positions in ministries, associations, international organisations and enterprises, but also in development co-operation. The program also prepares students for a career in the academic world. The program is taught at a high academic level and uses the latest methods and concepts. The teaching concept links intensive student monitoring with autonomous academic work and regular contact with economic practise. |

Admission requirements |

Provisional admission | If you have not yet completed your bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), you can apply for the program if you have received at least 80% of the CP required for graduation (e.g. 144 CP in a normal 180 CP bachelor’s program). This provisional certificate must be issued by an office authorized to award grades or issue certificates. Provisional admission is valid until the end of the first semester of the master’s program. The bachelor’s degree must thus be handed in by March 31 (winter intake) or September 30 (summer intake) the latest. |
