Ankündigung meines Projektes '©ovid’s metamorphoses‘ :


ich habe im ersten ‚großen lockdown‘ im April 2020 ein internationales 
kunstprojekt konzipiert, und in den darauffolgenden 1,5 jahren mit dem 
frankfurter klangkünstler lasse-marc riek organisiert und kuratiert, 
und bin nun auf der suche nach fördermitteln für die publikation 
dieses projektes.
das projekt hat den namen ‚©ovid’s metamorphoses,‘ und basiert auf der 
idee der stillen post (siehe projektbeschreibung im anhang). in 
anlehnung an 'covid-19' haben wir 19 runden gespielt, mit insgesamt 
133 internationalen künstler*innen aus den bereichen film, sound, 
text, und photographie (also ein multimediales projekt). dies 
bedeutet, wir haben nun insgesamt 152 kunstwerke, plus in den meisten 
fällen noch einen kurzen ‚log-buch-text‘ zu den einzelnen werken.

es sind wirklich renommierte künstler*innen und bekannte namen dabei – 
aus dem bereich film z.B. bill morrison und vincent moon; aus dem 
bereich sound der unlängst verstorbene lee ‚scratch‘ perry, richard 
reed parry von der band arcade fire, maja s k ratkje, deren neueste 
komnposition letzte wocheals auftragsarbeit des ensemble modern in der 
alten oper uraufgeführt wurde; aus dem bereich text die 
schriftsteller*innen tom mccarthy und christine wunnicke, die 
philosophinnen jane bennet und rosi braidotti, dann anna tsing (die 
kürzlich zur ‚zweiteinflussreichsten person in der kunstwelt‘ 
nominiert wurde; und im bereich photographie die bekannten künstler 
michael wesely und tomás saraceno.

und jetzt kommt meine bitte/anfrage – um ein solches projekt zu 
veröffentlichen, braucht es natürliches einiges an finanzen, bzw 
finanzieller unterstützung. Das projekt fällt leider m.W. zwischen 
alle ‚funding-stühle:‘ es ist nicht wissenschaftlich/akademisch, für 
fördferung vor projektbeginn war es den kulturstuiftungen der 
länder/des bundes zu international – nach projektende nicht mehr 
förderungswürdig, da fertige projekte eben nicht gefördert werden, 
etc. über eigenes erspartes, großzügige spenden, und eine kleine 
unterstützung des kulturamtes habe ich bisher ca 10000€ zusammentragen 
können – das ist aber knapp die hälfte dessen, was wir zur 
veröffentlichung benötigen: uns schwebt ein set (auflage ca 250 stück) 
aus mehreren vinyl-platten, plus mehreren DVDs, plus einem ‚lavishly 
illustrated‘ buch vor, welches dann den teilnehmenden künstler*innen 
als ‚symbolisches honorar‘ für ihre mitwirkung überreicht werden soll. 
die ca 100 übrigen sets sollen dann verkauft werden, um etwaige andere 
kosten (mastering, technische realisierung einer digitalen ausstellung 
im netz, etc, zu finanzieren). zum einen wäre ich da natürlich äußerst 
dankbar über direkte finanzielle hilfe – dazu habe ich ein (zugegeben 
recht peinliches) schnellschuss-crowdfunding projekt auf die beine 
gestellt, welches man unter
