Thin films and nanostructures
Profil
Profil
Our group is concerned with the consequences of electronic correlation effects and disorder on the properties of thin films and nanostructures. In particular, we are interested in cooperative ground states, such as magnetism and superconductivtiy in the proximity to a metal-insulator transition. The main focus of our current work is on nano-granular metals, magnetic and superconducting nanostructures and organic charge transfer systems with ferroelectric ground state. In an application-oriented facet of our research we also evaluate concepts for the use of correlation effects in sensor development (strain and dielectric sensing).

Nanogranulare Metalle
International sind wir Mitglied der COST-Action MP1201 - Nanoscale Superconductivity: Novel Functionalities through Optimized Confinement of Condensate and Fields (NanoSC-COST).
Sensorentwicklung
Methoden
Methoden
Focused Electron Beam Induced Deposition (FEBID)
So untersuchen wir u.a.
