Das Krankenhaus von Sultân Bâyezîd II. in Edirne. Das Krankenhaus wurde im Jahre 1484 zusammen mit einer Akademie (Madrasa), einer Moschee und einer Armenküche am Fluß Tunca in Edirne gegründet.
The Hospital of Sultân Bâyezîd II in Edirne. The hospital was founded in 1484 together with an academy (madrasa), a mosque and a kitchen for the poor on the banks of river Tunca in Edirne.
Modell des Qalâwūn-Krankenhauses in Kairo. Das Krankenhaus wurde von dem türkischen Mamluken-Sultan al-Malik al-Mansûr (reg. 1279–1290) in den Jahren 1284–1289 errichtet. Es stand in jeder Beziehung auf einer sehr hohen Entwicklungsstufe. Heute steht fest, daß es auf später in Europa gegründete Krankenhäuer großen Einfluß ausgeübt hat.
Model of the Qalâwūn-Hospital in Cairo. This hospital was erected by the Turkish Mamluk Sultan al-Malik al-Mansûr (reigned 1279–1290) in the years 1284–1289 c.e. Both the building as such and the way it was run were very advanced. Today it is an established fact that it had a considerable impact on hospitals founded later in Europe.
