Dr Joohyun Justine Park is a post-doctoral research fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt. She received her PhD in Education at the University of Auckland in 2019, and worked as a professional research fellow at the University of Auckland in 2020. She has also tutored Korean language and culture courses (2018-2020).
Her current research focuses on1) skilled migrants’ labour market integration,
2) Korean migrants’ ethnic/national identity and acculturation, success beliefs, acculturation, subjective/psychological well-being, and
3) non-Koreans’ motivation and expectation in learning Korean language/culture.
Methodologically, her research interests also lie in the areas of cross-cultural research and mixed-method research.
