Sascha Bargmann joined the linguistics division of the Department of English and American Studies in 2011. His main research interests lie within the domain of theoretical linguistics, especially in syntax, semantics and the syntax-semantics interface. He recently defended his dissertation "Chopping up idioms – towards a combinatorial analysis" and is now working on relative clauses.
