FIELD OF RESEARCH
Snow in subseasonal-to-seasonal (S2S) forecasting
Land surface processes, such as the relatively slow varying snow cover and amount, are sources of predictability for S2S forecasts. This PhD project investigates the impact of snow initialisation and modelling in S2S forecasts.
