International Affairs

Goethe University is home to a thriving community of over 48,000 students, including around 7,600 international students from some 136 different countries. A great variety of student organisations, activities, events and educational opportunities help keep the three main campuses lively.

Whether you want to come to Goethe University to earn a degree, as exchange student, or for a summer school programme, your first point of contact is the International Office. The International Office has all the information you need regarding requirements and the application process for bachelor, master and doctoral degrees. They offer advisory services, as well as support with admissions, enrollment, visas, getting settled in Frankfurt, and student orientation.

For information and support regarding the German language proficiency test (DSH) and the University Assessment Test, please visit the Internationales Studienzentrum ISZ.

If you are a scientist, scholar or researcher coming to Goethe University, please visit the Goethe Welcome Centre.
