Research Topics
Our overarching goal is to improve the understanding and predictive skill of local weather and climate, with a particular focus on mountainous regions. We investigate key atmospheric processes including the boundary layer, turbulence, clouds, moist convection, and terrain-induced flows. Our research contributes to advancing weather and climate models, improving air pollution forecasts, understanding the distribution of trace gases such as CO₂, supporting energy meteorology, and analyzing extreme weather events.
