The Akademische Prüfstelle (APS) examines the documents of applicants who wish to apply for studies in Germany with an Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese school or university degree. With the certificate, the APS confirms that the submitted documents are genuine and that the degree is satisfactory for studying in Germany.
The APS certificate is required for application to an undergraduate degree program (Bachelor & Staatsexamen), a master's degree program, or for the Studienkolleg.
