In the 13th funding year, 2023/24, a total of 550 Deutschlandstipendium scholarships were awarded to students. We extend a warm welcome to our new scholars. The official award ceremony took place on November 29, 2023 at the Westend Campus. More information about the event and the new scholarship cohort is available here.

In addition to financial assistance, the Deutschlandstipendium also provides its scholars with non-material support. In this context, a roundtable discussion was held on January 23 between the scholarship recipients and the Chairman of the Board of the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft Frankfurt, Prof. Frank Dievernich. The event was moderated by three scholarship holders. It was an evening filled with stimulating discussions and an abundance of inspiring ideas.

The 10-year anniversary of the Deutschlandstipendium

A commitment born of conviction: "Over the past ten years, the Deutschlandstipedium scholarship has become an integral part of Goethe University. With more than 5,000 scholarships awarded, our university has supported numerous young scholars. It is a worthwhile investment that will benefit society far into the future. Support for dedicated and high-achieving students

Since 2011, the Deutschlandstipendium has been supporting outstanding students from all disciplines who are committed to their academic and professional success. In addition to excellent grades, the scholarship program also looks for a high degree of social involvement. Other selection criteria include leadership qualities and the ability to overcome obstacles in one's personal life and education. Scholarship recipients receive a monthly stipend of 300 euros - half of which is provided by the German government, the other half by private donors. It is this blend of civic engagment and government support that makes the Deutschlandstipendium so special.
