Institute colloquium

During the lecture period, the colloquium of the Institute of "Cell Biology and Neuroscience" takes place every 14 days on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. Please refer to the invitations for the individual lectures for the location and further details. The event lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Please also note the colloquia of the Institutes of "Ecology, Evolution, and Diversity", and "Molecular Biosciences", as well as the lectures offered by the Senckenberg "Biodiversity and Climate Research Center" (BiK-F).

Teaching at the Institute

The staff of the Institute of Cell Biology and Neuroscience is involved in a wide range of academic courses. The institute is responsible for organizing the English-language master's programs “Interdisciplinary Neuroscience” (program director: Prof. Dr. Jasmin Hefendehl; program coordinator: Dr. Gabi Lahner), and "Physical Biology of Cells and Cell Interactions" (program director: Prof. Dr. Stefan Eimer; program coordinator: Dr. Isabell Schmitz)

The institute's research groups are also involved in the bachelor's program in biosciences, the teacher training programs, as well as the bachelor's and master's programs in bioinformatics.
