Become a Mentor

Who can become a mentor?

Professionals with at least three years' experience in a particular sector or activity can apply to become a mentor.

As a mentor, you should be willing to share your professional experience, expertise and contacts with a student.

We endeavour to match all mentors with a mentee. We may draw lots if necessary.

What can you expect as a mentor?

Regular meetings are essential for a successful mentoring relationship! Therefore, mentors should meet with their mentees on a regular basis (in person and/or online).

Of course, the frequency and details of this commitment are up to you. However, you should be a reliable contact for the entire duration of the program - once a semester is not enough.

The basic principles of this collaboration are set out in a mentoring agreement.

We also look forward to welcoming you to the two GROW@Goethe events.
