In order to access the many student services offered by Goethe University, you need an account at the University Computing Center. An "HRZ account" consists of a login name (also called username) and a university e-mail address ("login"@stud.uni-frankfurt.de). As the name suggests, the domain "stud" is only assigned to students.
Your personal HRZ account will be set up automatically together with your Goethe Card when you enroll. The HRZ accounts of Goethe University students are automatically renewed every semester as long as the students are enrolled. For more information, please click here:
When you enrolled, you were automatically provided with a free email account. All university communications are sent to this email address, so please check your inbox regularly!
You can access your email account via the webmail interface without prior configuration. We recommend setting up your email account in a mail client.
