We mourn the death of Manfred Faßler

Completely unexpectedly and suddenly, our colleague, mentor, friend and companion Prof. Dr. Manfred Faßler passed away on April 17, 2021. He joined our Institute for Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology at the Goethe University as a professor more than twenty years ago and has worked here as a much respected pioneer in Germany and abroad for the new orientation of a co-evolutionary anthropology of the medial. That he is no longer here is hardly comprehensible for the staff, doctoral students and students of our institute. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family.
