As part of the project "Academic Success through Dialogue II," PBS is responsible for the further training and professionalization of student advisors and the counselling of mentally stressed students. This professionalization includes regular group supervision as well as individual phone supervision, which can be used to clarify acute concerns and refer students to PBS.
In addition, the student advisors are trained in a series of continuing education courses (e.g., difficult counselling situations, psychological crises, motivational interviewing, role conflicts). The training series is accredited by the Gesellschaft für Beratung und Therapie (GIBeT) as part of the student advisor profile.
