Process Overview of Applying as a Doctoral Student

1. Consultation with your supervisor

For your doctoral studies, it is necessary that a professor supervises your doctoral project. Therefore, you should talk to your potential supervisor and agree on the topic of your dissertation, the methodological approach, and a schedule.

2. Registration at the Dean's Office

Once you have found a supervisor, you fill out the application form together and hand it in at the dean's office.

2. Registration as a doctoral candidate

To register as a doctoral candidate, you must sign up via the registration portal. Once you have registered on the portal, you can print out your doctoral application and submit it to the dean's office together with the required documents.

4. Submission of documents to the dean's office

After successfully registering yourself, submit all the necessary documents to the dean's office. Once the doctoral committee has reviewed your application, you will receive official notification of your acceptance as a doctoral candidate if you meet the requirements.

Doctoral Committee

The doctoral committee of the department decides on the acceptance of doctoral candidates, the composition of the examination board, etc.
