The departmental council (FBR) is the highest decision-making committee of the department. It decides on the adoption of examination regulations, the establishment of the structural plan, the coordination of research projects, and decisions on appointment proposals and habilitations.
The FBR consists of seven elected representatives of the professors, two representatives of the academic staff, three students, and one representative of the admin/technical staff. The department's equality and diversity council participates in the FBR in an advisor role.
