Niko Claus Teaching Award

Since 2016, the department of physics, together with the Walter Greiner Society, has been awarding the annual Niko Claus Teaching Award for excellence in teaching. Individual educators or groups of educators can be nominated by any member of the department. The award ceremony takes place annually; the selection process is carried out by a commission, which considers several selection criteria. The award is sponsored by Dr. Dr. h.c. Nikolaus Hensel and Claus Wisser.
