Use of AI
Dear Students,
In light of recent events, the Office of the Dean of Studies would like to remind you that undisclosed or unauthorized use of artificial intelligence (AI) or other technical tools in exam submissions is prohibited. Over the past few months, there have been increasing instances of unreported AI usage, which have led to exam-related consequences, including failure of the respective exams. This has also affected state examinations.
Please note: In state examinations, an attempt to cheat can result not only in failing the exam but even in permanent exclusion from your course of study.
Before using AI, please familiarize yourself with the applicable regulations and refer to the GU guidelines (link).
If you are uncertain about whether or how you can use AI, please speak directly with your examiners or contact the Office of the Dean of Studies.
