Study Structure

 

The dual master’s program combines academic reflection with practical experience in healthcare settings.

The four-semester program includes:
• interdisciplinary courses
• practice-oriented study components
• ethical reflection on current challenges in healthcare
• independent research and project work

By closely linking theory and practice, students develop professional, ethical and communication skills for a wide range of roles in healthcare contexts.

Study Overview

Foundation Phase | 1st Semester | 30 CP

Foundations

Introduction to ethics, social ethics and medical ethics as well as interdisciplinary foundations.

Advanced Phase | 2nd–3rd Semester | 60 CP

Specialization & Practice

Further specialization, practical experience and ethical reflection on current healthcare challenges.

Final Phase | 4th Semester | 30 CP

Master’s Thesis

Independent academic research and work on a practice-related topic.
