Can science save the world? In the summer semester of 2026, the departmental research seminar will provide a framework for rethinking social and cultural anthropology at our department and exploring the boundaries and (im)possibilities of the subject in dialogue with colleagues from related disciplines and with social partners. Through lectures, panel discussions, and creative formats, we aim to develop new perspectives on current challenges and gather ideas for creative, collaborative, engaged, and innovative research approaches.
