When you start your degree, you will probably have many questions – that is absolutely normal! Experience shows that it is easier for everyone when you tackle your studies with others. Use the orientation week to get to know your fellow students, choose courses together, and later on start study groups for exams.
Do also get to know the staff at the department: we are a relatively small department and our doors are open for all concerns during our office hours (you just have to walk through them). Students are an important part of the department – and you will be part of it from your very first day.
