Information for Students of Faculty 08
Here you can find curated news, events, and helpful links for students of History, Philosophy or Social and Cultural Anthropology.
In the summer semester of 2024, the Faculty Council of Faculty 08 (including the disciplines of Philosophy, History, and Social and Cultural Anthropology) adopted the “Code of Conduct: Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination in Faculty 08.” The Code of Conduct is an agreement for respectful and constructive collaboration among members and affiliates of the faculty. It aims to promote respectful interaction and to reduce discrimination.
After two years, the relevance of the Code will be reviewed by the Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Committee of the faculty and revised if necessary. To enable cross-status participation, all members and affiliates of Faculty 08 are invited to share their perspectives in the following survey.
The full Code of Conduct can be found here.
The survey runs from June 29 to July 24, 2026 and takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your responses will be collected and analysed anonymously.
Here you can find current job offers and information about scholarships for students.
