Humanities Day

Goethe University

What is Humanities Day?

Humanities Day ("Tag der Geisteswissenschaften/TdG") is aimed at school pupils and future students who are interested in the Humanities but do not have a clear idea of what studying such a subject involves, what skills it teaches or what career prospects it opens up.

During Humanities Day, Goethe-University lecturers hold workshops on topics from a wide range of subjects, including, among others, History, Philosophy, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Japanese Studies, Human Geography, Linguistics, Archaeology, and Sports Science.

An introductory kick-off event will also offer insights into career prospects and provide an opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with other participants.

Registration is required to participate.
