From Developing Brains to Developing Minds

Developmental psychology is the study of the continuous process of development and behavioral changes in humans throughout the life span. It provides for the study of every stage of development from before birth through death. It also considers three interrelated domains: biological, cognitive, and psychosocial. The goal of this lecture series is to provide an introduction to developmental psychology, focusing on the childhood period. The topics will encompass biological development, learning, cognitive development, and intellectual development.
