Course content and focus areas
The master’s program “Art – Media – Cultural Education” prepares students for academic, artistic, and cultural education-related activities and career paths. The program emphasizes artistic education as a foundation for personal development and for teaching practices rooted in aesthetic and social competencies. At the same time, the comprehensive academic and didactic training, combined with the program’s placement within a university offering a wide range of disciplines, equips students with the skills needed for professional work across a diverse spectrum of careers in art and cultural communication. The department’s focus on art education and academic research, along with its collaborations, exchange opportunities, and teaching/research projects, supports the program’s interdisciplinary and international orientation.
