Medical engineering is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on engineering research and applications in medicine. The cooperative degree program in medical engineering, offered by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering at TU Darmstadt and the Faculty of Medicine at Goethe University Frankfurt, covers all areas of modern medical engineering and is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach in both teaching and research. The cooperative degree program has been available since the winter semester of 2018/19.
