Course content and focus areas
The master's degree program in philosophy is research-oriented. The program aims to deepen students' insights into the systematic and historical complexity of philosophical problems, help them achieve mastery of techniques for scientific work, and enable them to engage in independent philosophical work.
The program provides a scientific approach to philosophy, allowing students to acquire knowledge and skills in addressing both historical and contemporary philosophical issues. On the other hand, the program allows students to create individual major fields of study, in which they acquire in-depth knowledge and understanding, learn to develop their own positions, and learn to defend them. By the end of the program, students should be able to contribute formally and contextually correct ideas to philosophical discussions.
Students of philosophy strengthen their core competencies during the program, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, argumentation, dealing with challenging texts and media, and mediating complex issues in an understandable form. The program aims to prepare students for careers that require pronounced analytical and communication skills.
