The course covers Economics, including both Economic Science and Business Administration, in its breadth and interconnections. Early specialization in a specific direction is avoided for as long as possible. Instead, students are equipped with methodological and theoretical fundamentals that can be applied throughout their professional careers.

A distinctive feature of the Frankfurt “Bachelor in Economics” is the close integration of Business Administration and Economics, combined with a broad acquisition of methodological expertise and problem-solving skills.

The program aims to foster your critical and interdisciplinary thinking by providing theoretical, institutional, and empirical knowledge, as well as methodological expertise in economic science. It seeks to contribute to the development of individuals who can analyze and evaluate the social impacts of economic decisions based on concepts of economic ethics. The focus is on a comprehensive education in economic science to prepare you for socially responsible roles in national and international institutions and companies.

The broad economic orientation of the Frankfurt Bachelor not only provides you with an excellent foundation for a successful start to your career but also opens up opportunities for further study and specialization in a Master’s program.
