Albert Schweitzer School

The Albert Schweitzer School is a modern high school with over 150 years of tradition. We view the individual and cultural diversity of our students as a strength and strive to achieve integration through acknowledgment of personality and performance. Since 1991, we’ve been part of the global network of UNESCO Project Schools. Our school program emphasizes intercultural communication and learning. We place great importance on teaching foreign languages, offering not only the standard options but also bilingual instruction that leads to a bilingual diploma (English/German). Since July 2017, we’ve been a member of the national Excellence School Network MINT-EC, contributing consistently to talent development in the areas of academic and career orientation as well as school advancement.

Sports form another key focus of our school profile. The ASS is proud to be a “Partner School of Competitive Sports.”
