Elisabethenschule

The Elisabethenschule is a historic grammar school in Frankfurt that was founded in 1876 as a higher school for girls. Today, the school serves about 950 students, taught by 85 dedicated teachers. Starting with the 2014/15 school year, the Elisabethenschule returned to the G9 model.

In addition to academic qualifications, students develop social skills, methodological expertise, and self-competence. They are encouraged to act independently and take responsibility for their own learning. The school focuses on four key areas: a comprehensive educational approach, Spanish as the first foreign language, STEM (MINT), and a strong emphasis on music. In 2016, the Elisabethenschule was recertified for its exemplary career and student advice and counseling across all grade levels, as well as its diverse partnerships, earning the OloV quality seal for career and study orientation once again.

The Elisabethenschule is a full-day school (Profile I) offering care and activities until 4:00 PM.
