Freiherr-vom-Stein School
The Freiherr-vom-Stein School, with around 940 students, is a well-established grammar school in Frankfurt. Founded in 1909 as a reform grammar school with a focus on languages, the school has shifted its emphasis over the past 50 years to the mathematical and scientific area. In 2001, a bilingual program was arranged in cooperation with the Republic of Italy, where German and Italian teachers collaborate. The cultural diversity of our students reflects the international character of the city of Frankfurt. Key additions to our regular teaching include exchange projects with partner schools in Italy and France. At the heart of our educational work is the personal development of our students. We encourage social learning both in class and through various projects, such as Lions Quest, mentoring programs, violence prevention, and commitment to World AIDS Day.
