Fritz Bauer Institute

The Fritz Bauer Institute is affiliated with Goethe University and researches the history of the Holocaust and other Nazi crimes, as well as their impact on the present day. It attaches particular importance to communicating the latest research findings to the public. The institute supports the discussion of National Socialism and the Holocaust in schools with three teachers seconded by the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs and the following educational offerings:
Workshops and guided tours for school classes on the above-mentioned topics
Advice and support for teachers in designing study days, projects, teaching concepts, and visits to memorial sites
Further training for teachers
