Goethe University Frankfurt's current University Development Plan, entitled “Creating a Viable Future", sets out the university's development planning for the years 2021 to 2024 in fulfillment of the Hessian Higher Education Act and taking into account the 2021-2025 Hessian Higher Education Pact. Executive Board Q&A: University Development Plan
Goethe University Frankfurt is developing its University Development Plan 2025+, which is a continuation of the current plan 2021–2024, as part of a participatory process that takes into account the status quo of the university as well as current developments in science, society, business, and politics at both the national and international level. As part of this process, university-wide information and feedback events were held in July 2024, which also included interviews with the Executive Board, i.e. Goethe University President Prof. Dr. Enrico Schleiff; the Head of Administration, Dr. Ulrich Breuer; as well as Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Bernhard Brüne (Research), Prof. Dr. Viera Pirker (Study and Teaching), Prof. Dr. Sabine Andresen (Opportunities, Career Development and Promotion), Prof. Dr. Michael Huth (Quality Management, Infrastructure and Technology Transfer), and CIO Ulrich Schielein (Digitalization and Digital Infrastructures).
